The food we serve at Rushden Kids Club is based on good, ‘home’ cooking.
We cater for all dietary requirements, intolerances and allergies and our menus are selected to include daily portions of dairy and multiple portions of fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables. Our menus include dishes from around the world to introduce the children to different tastes and cultures.
Once a month our cook Caroline holds cooking sessions with the children. We regularly incorporate traditional foods to coincide with cultural topics, such as Pancake Day, Easter, Diwali, and Christmas, where the children follow recipes and are able to take home what they have created to share with their families. We teach the children about healthy foods and what benefit they have to their bodies.
Rushden Kids Club possesses a 5 star Food Hygiene rating from the local authority.
